Need real help for a newbie

Hello to Everyone!

This is my first time entering into video and streaming field

also I don’t have any background on streaming or restream

I’m asking some one to give me easy to understand help:

how can I re-stream a http link (hls)

example

http://192.168.1.15:3000/api/abcd/1.m3u8

I installed the wowza on my server and I’m trying my best to re-stream

it will be great help if you can suggest a any video or youtube I can follow.

I have no experience with programming or servers, so I am really struggling. Help would be really appreciated!

Hi,

Wowza doesn’t support the ingest of HTTP video streams which is why you have been unable to re-stream it.

Please see our Specifications page for details of supported streams for ingest.

We have tutorials for live streaming which can be found below if you’re able to change the source.

Live RTMP based encoder

Live RTSP based stream

Live MPEG-TS based encoder
