nDVR for HLS CMAF

Are there plans to add DVR support for CMAF?
Currently, HLS DVR only supports HLS version 3.
Streams with #EXT-X-MEDIA:TYPE=AUDIO and #EXT-X-MEDIA:TYPE=SUBTITLES do not work.
