Hello everyone,
I was tinkering with setting up a Wowza instance on AWS using DevPay, and while going through the subscription process, I noticed that the subscription page says “Wowza 2” and the usage costs are unusually high: almost 3 times higher than the most recent Amazon price chart for the same region. Seeing that we are on Wowza 4.x now and Wowza 2 is a thing of the past, I’m curious if the usage fees displayed on the DevPay sign-up page are up to date?
Thanks!

Can you show which page you are referring to.
Thanks,
Richard
As far as I know, those prices are up to date, but I will check further.
Richard
Hi Richard,
To get to the pages in question:
*) First go to this URL: https://www.wowza.com/products/streaming-engine/deployment-options/aws
*) Scroll down, click on the “Subscribe to DevPay” link.
*) You should land on the Amazon Payments page - note “Please sign in to buy Wowza Media Server 2” text in the upper left part of the page.
*) Sign in with your Amazon ID and password
*) You will be taken to the sign-up page with lots of tables (usage fees per instance type/region). Note listed usage fees for, say, medium instance in N. Virginia: $0.26/hr. Current AWS m3.medium price is $0.07/hr for the same region.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
