Wowza cannot read multicast stream (via SDP file) but VLC can

I am running into an issue where Wowza cannot pick up a multicast stream (shows no media is flowing through) for a given SDP file. The stream is originating from another machine in my network.

The same .SDP file can be played successfully using VLC.

Following is the SDP file:

v=0

o=- 1 9 IN IP4 192.168.146.129

s=mnt-2530245144-stream1-high

i=H264 session of mnt-2530245144-stream1-high

u=http://192.168.146.129

c=IN IP4 239.1.1.26/64/1

t=0 0

m=video 5006/1 RTP/AVP 102

i=Video stream

c=IN IP4 239.1.1.26/64/1

a=fmtp:102 width=1920;height=1080;depth=0;framerate=0;fieldrate=0;

a=framerate:0

a=rtpmap:102 H264/90000

Thanks

Uvin,

I believe you would benefit from submitting a support request so we can delve deeper into your logging to see why this issue is occurring.

When you submit your case, please be certain to include a copy of the following folders as a .zip:

[wowza-install-dir]/conf
[wowza-install-dir]/logs
[wowza-install-dir]/manager/logs

If you are not sure how to get this information please review this tutorial.
NOTE: Please do make sure you provide logs that show the Wowza server starting. When the service is started the initial information about the environment, tuning, and versions of the Wowza Streaming Engine as well as the Java version are posted and this information is valuable for our investigation.

Regards,
Mac
