Unable to get the (Multicast) UDP stream into Wowza but able to play on VLC - Same system

Hi Team,

Not able to play the Multicast UDP

udp://@238.1.1.1:9000

I am getting no error but I cannot digest the input as well. What am I doing wrong?

NOTE: The same UDP is working perfectly on the same machine within VLC without any issues.

Stupid questions, but (1) did you try without the @ sign in the URL; and (2) did you choose the “RTP” type when starting the stream file? Also check Wowza’s logs for any errors or warnings. Remember you can only open the UDP port once if you use Wowza, unless you enable UDP port sharing (see https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-enable-udp-port-sharing-unicast-and-multicast)
