I cant find any listing of errorcodes in the documentation.
Is there any, or is there an informal list?

A lot of the errors you see working with Wowza are not really Wowza errors specifically. Server-side, most often you will see java errors that include error codes – which are documented by Java. On the client-side, it’s more likely to be a Flash error.

Can you give an example of what are are looking for?

Take a look at the “Logging” section of the User Guide.
Wowza Media Server generates the following logging status values:
100
Pending or waiting (for approval)
200
Success
302
Rejected by application with redirect information
400
Bad request
401
Rejected by application
413
Rejected by license manager
500
Internal error
There are also tables for Category and Event.
