configure Quick Sync accelerated encoding on Linux problem on EC2

HI

i tri to configure on EC2

On EC2 i run on a c4.xlarge

model name : Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2666 v3 @ 2.90GHz

Quick Sync accelerated encoding on Linux following https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-configure-quick-sync-accelerated-encoding-on-linux

i get the centos running, recomended release

cat /etc/redhat-release

CentOS 7.1-1503

sudo su for root user… good

follow instructions using “centos” as [non-root-user]

all good up to:

[centos@ip-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx MSS]$ ./build_kernel_rpm*.sh

Error… Not installed intel-linux-media-devel rpm package!

Anyhow… it seems that:

The Amazon EC2 instance types currently don’t have Intel Quick Sync capabilities for the Wowza AMIs.
