anything i can do ?

Hi Leo,
Quick Sync support on linux is very limited with respect to the kernel versions that are supported. The 3.8.0-23 kernel is a Ubuntu 12.04 kernel so you do need to start with that version of Ubuntu.
Windows support is a lot better and as of Win 8 or Win 2K12, there isn’t a problem with using Quick Sync or NVENC in Wowza software running as a Windows service.
Roger.
Hi, Roger
I build a kernel version 3.8.0-generic download from https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel, it worked, QuickSync is availabled. But when i transcoded only one stream, it take a high gpu utilization up to 50%, it’s only cost 10% normally.Maybe the ubuntu version problem or something else, i will try ubuntu 12.04.
As you mentioned, Windows provide a better support to Wowza quicksync, if it slao provide a better transcoding performance like picture quality than linux?
Thanks
