can't stop WowzaMediaServer3 after install of WowzaStreamingEngine

Hello

I’ve installed WowzaStreamingEngine today. I wasn’t expected that it will lauch WowzaStreamingEngine during the installation. My WowzaMediaServer 3 Was still running.

So now WowzaStreamingEngine is not working and I can’t stop WowzaMediaServer 3

xx.xx.xx.xx:1935 shows

Wowza Media Server 3 Perpetual Edition 3.6.2 build5334

when i want to stop it :

service WowzaMediaServer stop

ERROR: Missing license file: (/usr/local/WowzaMediaServer/conf/Server.license)

You must first run Wowza Media Server 3 in

standalone mode to enter serial number. Execute the

following commands to run in standalone mode:

cd /usr/local/WowzaMediaServer

./startup.sh

when i try to shutdown with ./shutdown.sh i get this:

Exception in thread “main” java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/wowza/wms/bootstrap/Bootstrap

Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.wowza.wms.bootstrap.Bootstrap

Could not find the main class: com.wowza.wms.bootstrap.Bootstrap. Program will exit.

I am completely lost.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a re-boot?

You might want to uninstall Wowza Streaming Engine, re-boot, make sure Wowza 3 is not running and reinstall Wowza Streaming Engine.
