Recently I came across these post http://www.kolor.com/blog-en/2014/01/10/ces-2014-kolor-announces-live-360-degree-video-stitching-streaming , http://www.vualto.com/vualto-powers-live-streaming-of-360-degree-feed-from-lollapalooza-festival-for-red-bull/ and got interesting on it.

I’m having a few Mobotix (www.mobotix.com) 180 degree lens IP (MxJPEG) cameras and like to implement 360 degree live streaming.

Is it possible to merge two 180 degree camera views and make it is a 360 degree view single stream by using wowza or with wowza supported software products.

That is very cool. The lollapalooza page says they are using Wowza to distribute this stream, but I think the affect is combination of capture, post production steps (stitching) and a customized player. I don’t think Wowza is doing anything out of the ordinary in this system.
