Wowza should runs over https but not via stream lock

Hello,

I want to run wowza over https.

I do not want to use stream lock for this purpose , I do R&D and find one way from the below link

https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-request-an-ssl-certificate-from-a-certificate-authority

But I do not want to generate java key store file , Can I direct use certificate and key to configure ssl as tomcat do?

I have an authorized certificate and key , Is it necessary to generate key store using this certificate and key.?

Can i configure ssl in wowza like tomcat? (i.e need to provide certificate and key path only, no need to generate java key store path)

Thanks.

Hello,

I don’t think that you can use SSL with Wowza in other way then keystore. Could you please provide more details what’s the problem with java keystore?

Hello,

Do you currently have any further questions on this? Keystore is the only option with Wowza at this time.

To troubleshoot SSL keystore configuration.
