Are many other folks experiencing the green artifacts on Safari on MacOS?
It’s note here https://www.wowza.com/docs/important-issues-that-affect-wowza-player
I would like to use the Wowza player over the original html5 player but this is preventing me because 3/4 of the screen is green on MacOS Safari.
Hello,
We have released Wowza Player version 1.0.04! This release should fix all known instances of the Green Screen on OSX/Safari.
Please make sure that you are using the latest version 1.0.04 by right-clicking on the Wowza Player video element to get the version number.
If you do not have the latest version, you will need to add ‘latest’ in this script tag:

Hello,
You will need to point your web page to player.wowza.com/player/latest, and you will be able to get it today. Otherwise, Wowza Streaming Cloud will be pushing this out to the cloud hosted player page with their next release.

Thats great thanks JasonT
I really want to move to the Wowza Player. We use Wowza Streaming Cloud and our embed code looks a little different, how do we change that to use the latest and or when will it get pushed to Wowza Streaming Cloud?
Thanks!
Hey Jason, I used the player builder today and on Safari works great now. Question though, has anyone noticed audio issues on Android with the updated player? I was using it tonight and when starting the video on Android in Chrome it worked but I was not getting audio until I paused it and clicked the play button again, then sometimes I would get audio and sometimes not, I tried refreshing a few times and same thing, never had that issue before.
