Wowza html5 flowplayer with key and behind firewall

Hello there,

we have currently a working wowza engine with flowplayer 3.2. Unfortunately newer Browser don’t support flash anymore. So we would like to use HTML5. Our current setting looks like follow:

<div class="responsive-video">
    <div class="flowplayer" data-swf="http://domain.com/Assets/js/flowplayer.swf" data-ratio="0.57">
        <a id="flow_player" class="videoStreamPlayer" href="http://domain.com/Assets/flowplayer/flowplayer-700.flv">
            <img src="http://domain.com//Assets/flowplayer/failureImageFlowplayer530.png" class="videoStreamPlayer_image" />
        </a>
        <script type="text/javascript" src="/Assets/flowplayer/flowplayer-3.2.13.min.js"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript" src="/Assets/flowplayer/flowplayer.ipad-3.2.12.js"></script>
        <script type="text/javascript">
            $f("flow_player",
                "http://domain.com/Assets/flowplayer/flowplayer.commercial-3.2.7.swf",
                {
                    key: '#$aaaabbbbccccdddd',
                    clip: {
                        autoPlay: true,
                        url:
                        'mp4:movie-1080.mp4',
                        provider: 'rtmp',
                        ipadUrl:
                        'http://wowzadomain.com/foldermovie/movie-1080.mp4/playlist.m3u8'
                    },
                    play: {
                        label: 'Play',
                        fadeSpeed: 2000
                    }
                    plugins: {
                        rtmp: {
                            url:
                            'http://domain.com/Assets/flowplayer/flowplayer.rtmp-3.2.3.swf',
                            netConnectionUrl:
                            'rtmpt://wowzadomain.com/foldermovie'
                        }
                    }
                }).ipad();
        </script>
    </div>
</div>

What needs to be done to use HTML5 and only in a fallback scenario for older Browsers use the flowplayer flash engine?

For HTML5 Stream I figured out we could simply use:

<video controls src="http://[WOWZA-IP]:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/playlist.m3u8"> </video>

But

  1. Our wowza stream is behind a firewall and can’t use the IP-Address

  2. Where/How do I put the key?

Is there a proper Solution?

I thank you in advance for any advise.

best regrads

robert
