Wowza Media Systems today announced support of Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (MPEG-DASH) nDVR to its award-winning Wowza Streaming Engine™ software, with a new update to version 4.7.6. The support of nDVR for MPEG-DASH allows adaptive bitrate streaming applications to implement pause, rewind, play and “jump-to-live” playback functionality for live video.
