Last week I upgraded to monthly subscription from the free trial. Before that, I can access some information of streams by Wowza engine REST API, but since today morning I find my server api not working. I debugged my api get the following response.
I can ensure my ape caller used correct username and password with HTTP basic authentication.

REST API is not licensed
Hi,
The REST API is not licensed in the Monthly subscription of the software.
If you’d like a discussion on your options regarding the REST API, please create a ticket by sending an email to support@wowza.com.
Please link to this thread for reference.
Thanks,
Jason
Starting with Wowza Streaming Engine version 4.3, the REST API is fully accessible using your Wowza server license key and no other key is required. If you still are receiving the “REST API is not licensed” error, you need to upgrade your Wowza server to version 4.3. To upgrade, see how to update your Wowza Streaming Engine installation.

OK, I found the solution is request a licence from preview@wowza.com
