Unexpected exception.: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

Hello,

We are using latest build of Wowza Streaming Engine (4.1.0.03) and Java version 1.7.0_51 (64 bit) on a Windows 2012 R2 server with 32GB or installed memory, and Wowza set to “Production Level”. Until recently all worked fine, but last few days, I am getting the “java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space” on a daily basis. The only thing changed lastly is that we started serving HD videos (2MB). The server has 8 application setup, 2 live and 6 VOD. Only one of these application serves the HD videos.

Please urgently help us since this effects many users.

If you have not done so already I would advise you open a ticket with the support team. To do so please zip the following folders and send them, along with a link to this thread as a reference to support@wowza.com:

[install-dir]/conf

[install-dir]/logs

[install-dir]/transcoder

[install-dir]/manager/logs
