Hello,
While this is not currently an option via a parameter/property setting, it is a current backlog feature request for Wowza Streaming Engines’ transcoder. So our Product Development Team is considering it for addition in a future release.
Currently, you could use another transcoding program such as FFMEPG or VLC to perform this action before ingesting the stream into Wowza Streaming Engine.
Best regards,
Andrew

I’d be really great if Wowza Transcoder could normalize input audio to match the -23 LUFS level (according to EBU R128 standard - https://tech.ebu.ch/loudness)
This thread is 4 years old.
Has the control of volume been added? I would like to turn of the volume or make it very low using an Wowza API call preferable

Kent
We would also like this feature. We ingest feeds for radio broadcasting but they need to be louder for web/digital. Ideally not having to use ffmpeg because that just increases complexity and Wowza is very reliable.
Hi @Keoni_Mahelona I’m looking into this for you. Be back soon with some info…
When you enable the parameter logging, then it will print out a list of the configurable parameters, along with their current settings. You can then use any of those names to set the parameter to a different value.
You can see how to do this here:
