StreamLock not working

Having renewed an expired certificate, I also updated it’s password and uploaded it to the server, and followed this tutorial serveral times:

https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-get-ssl-certificates-from-the-streamlock-service#config

But it doesn’t seem to be working. ffprobe is reporting ‘Unable to negotiate TLS/SSL session: -9806’, and trying to access a stream with video.js doesn’t work either.

I have setup the virtual host port serveral times, uploaded the cert a few times, restarted the server many times, both the EC2 and the engine, but to no avail. Please help.

We’re using Streaming Engine 4.7.

Hey Ali,

Did you find a solution?

I have the same problem.

Thanks,

Wagner

You might look at your Vhost.xml file located in your root Wowza path under the conf directory to find the specific pointer to your streamlock certificate file under SSLConfig. The path and certificate filename plus the new password in clear text should be defined and readable in this xml file. It may not be your solution but should be verified.

${com.wowza.wms.context.VHostConfigHome}/conf/[filename].streamlock.net.jks
[password]

if SSL certificate expired streaming wont work ?
