Stream and Play just by url

Hi everybody

In some platforms, I saw they stream and play just by custom url instead of regular wowza urls.

For example in Periscope you can see a url like this for player:

https://periscope.tv/w/TOKEN

Instead of this:

https://periscope.tv:1935/live/streamname/playlist.m3u8

And in Youtube you can see a url like this for streaming:

rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live

Instead of this:

rtmp://youtube.com:1835/live/streamname

How can I run this way of streaming?
