Hello,
we have a problem with audio files streamed by Wowza 4 and vtt.
It doesn’t works on Safari (Desktop or iOS ).
The problem occurs when we use
Test page: http://www.fdambrosio.net/test/player7/safari.html
We see a security error on Safari: Cross-origin text track load denied by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy.
We’ve checked that vtt files has header: Access-Control-Allow-Origin *
So why it’s happen?
Thanks,
Francesco
Hi,
You may need to enable CORS to allow your crossdomain.xml file to be accessed. Please see this article for how to do this.
Paul
Hi,
Please open a ticket with our support team so we can investigate further. Ensure you include the above mentioned information.

Thanks Jason,
we don’t know if this is an issue, we’ve fixed crossorigin.xml message error, but we see that we’re unable to play audio hls with vtt captions on Safari.
This test page is complete: http://www.fdambrosio.net/test/player7/safari-bug.html
How can we fix it?
