Can’t figure out how to enable CORS in Wowza Cloud stream dashboard interface. My tablet is giving cross-origin policy error. Help please.
Randy,
CORS is configured at the Stream Target. This Wowza Cloud article walks you through creating a new stream target where you can configure the CORS to be enabled for playback. There are other areas addressed in this article, but know that it does address adding CORS as well.
I hope this helps.

The article asks me to select Wowza CDN-HLS target. I do not have that option.
And this instruction: https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-send-a-stream-from-wowza-streaming-engine-to-a-wowza-streaming-cloud-hls-target … also assumes you have CDN - HLS available, which I don’t.
So, I can’t test streaming to my tablet? How am I going to evaluate Wowza Cloud services?
Randy
Randy,
As you later pointed out, this is a limitation of the trial period. We do not have a separate set of trial documentation, so the articles you are reviewing will typically have a note at the top that includes the statement, "__All workflows require a Wowza Streaming Cloud subscription".
For direct playback from the transcoder, we do provide the player or the direct m3u8 to test with your iOS devices. On the trial servers, we do have CORS enabled by default at the server level. If you are getting CORS errors in your testing, please submit a support ticket through the Wowza Support Portal.
I hope this clarifies.
