We are using RTMP via Wowza Cloud to connect Apple & Android devices (video only) in one-to-one sessions with our backend JW Player. Video quality is low (but that’s OK) and we selected RTMP because of the low latency in this set up. As JW Player no longer accepts RTMP streams, can anyone suggest what we should be moving to, please?
Hi @Will Riddock , the standard protocol for playing back to Apple and Android devices is the HLS protocol.
Wowza Cloud would transcode the RTMP to HLS and then it can be played no problem on any player or device.
