question about putting a live rtp stream on a web page

Greetings. Sorry for such a basic question, but I can’t seem to figure this out. I have been able to setup a live rtp stream and viewing using the flash examples. I would like to place the stream on my own Web page. Does this mean that I have to purchase Flash to design the page, or or their some cheats, or lower costs options?

Thanks in advance.

Take a look at Flowplayer or JW Player:

The Flash Media Playback player works with RTMP and Flash HTTP (Sanjose)

You can also use the free hosted Adobe OSMF player. Simply drop your RTMP URL in to the configuration tool and it will spit out the code needed to embed your video. Nothing else to host on your site!

Thanks Richard!

Hi Benjamin - thanks for the link. I tried using my RTSP url and it didn’t work. Does it only work with RTMP?
