Playlist configuration

Hello All,

Thx for your help on my previous thread, it is working now.

I have a last issue on my playlist, I can’t manage to read that stream:

rtmp://10.11.90.120/demo/StreamD (that calls another Streams, StreamA)

Here is my playlist:

                <stream name="StreamA"></stream>
                <stream name="StreamB"></stream>
                <stream name="StreamC"></stream>
                <stream name="StreamD"></stream>
                <playlist name="pl1" playOnStream="StreamA" repeat="true" scheduled="2010-12-29 15:08:00">
                        <video src="mp4:avatar_1600.mp4" start="0" length="30"/>
                </playlist>
                <playlist name="pl2" playOnStream="StreamA" repeat="true" scheduled="2010-12-27 15:08:30">
                        <video src="France4-t.stream" start="-2" length="-1"/>
                </playlist>
                <playlist name="pl3" playOnStream="StreamB" repeat="true" scheduled="2009-12-11 16:00:00">
                        <video src="FranceO-t.stream" start="-2" length="5"/>
                </playlist>
                <playlist name="pl4" playOnStream="StreamC" repeat="true" scheduled="2010-12-27 19:00:00">
                        <video src="StreamA" start="-2" length="-1"/>
                </playlist>
                <playlist name="pl5" playOnStream="StreamC" repeat="true" scheduled="2010-12-27 19:10:00">
                        <video src="StreamB" start="-2" length="-1"/>
                </playlist>
                <playlist name="pl7" playOnStream="StreamD" repeat="true" scheduled="2010-12-26 19:00:00">
                        <video src="StreamC" start="-2" length="60"/>
                </playlist>
                <playlist name="pl6" playOnStream="StreamD" repeat="true" scheduled="2010-12-27 15:08:00">
                        <video src="StreamA" start="-2" length="-1"/>
                </playlist>

In that configuration when calling:

rtmp://10.11.90.120/demo/StreamD (scheduled at 2010-12-29 15:08:00),

I should be able to watch:

StreamA, so:

       <playlist name="pl1" playOnStream="StreamA" repeat="true" scheduled="2010-12-29 14:10:00">
                        <video src="mp4:avatar_1600.mp4" start="0" length="30"/>
                </playlist>
                <playlist name="pl2" playOnStream="StreamA" repeat="true" scheduled="2010-12-27 14:10:30">
                        <video src="France4-t.stream" start="-2" length="-1"/>
                </playlist>

But the stream only delivering me the vod file avatar_1600.mp4,and not the live France4-t just after the vod file as expected.

This can be verified in the following log, I have:

Thx for your kind advices,

Romain.

I tested the concept, and it worked. I published a stream named myStream to the live application with scheduler setup with this schedule:

<smil>
	<head>
	</head>
	<body>
		<stream name="Stream1"></stream>
		<stream name="liveStream"></stream>

		<playlist name="plLive" playOnStream="liveStream" scheduled="2009-12-11 16:00:00">
			<video src="myStream" start="-2" length="-1"></video>
		</playlist>

		<playlist name="pl1" playOnStream="Stream1" scheduled="2009-12-11 16:00:00">
			<video src="liveStream" start="-2" length="-1"/>
		</playlist>
	</body>
</smil>

Then I tested in Wowza LiveVideoStreaming example player:

Server: rtmp://[wowza-address]:1935/live

Stream: liveStream

And this:

Server: rtmp://[wowza-address]:1935/live

Stream: Stream1
