We have setup a new Wowza server on EC2 that has zero traffic going through it at the moment. We have configured a simple VOD playback application that takes its content from S3. We have configured SecureToken and have developed the code to generate the tokens and all is working just fine except that when we view the videos with a desktop client, there is about a 10 - 15 second delay before playback begins. However, when we view the video with a mobile client, playback is almost instantaneous. Is there anything we should be looking at to ensure playback happens within an acceptable amount of time for all clients?
