Normal Latency with Wowza Streaming Cloud

Hi,

Having used Akamai for the past 8 years we have moved to WSC and are finding the service easy and reliable. However we have on issue in that the playback delay from live appears to be close to 2 minutes. Our experience with other services haven’t seen playback be more than 30 seconds behind realtime.

Is a 2 minute delay normal for Wowza Streaming Cloud? Can anything be done to reduce this to a more reasonable time?

In this instance, please log into your Wowza Account Portal and submit a support request for this issue. We will need to see your workflow in more detail to understand why you are seeing such a long latency.
