Play WebRTC stream on iOS device

I’m using Flowplayer to play a WebRTC stream from Wowza Streaming Engine in a web browser. The stream works fine on computers and Android devices, but it doesn’t play on iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads. Flowplayer shows the following error:

“MediaUnavailable. Failed to set remote offer SDP: Failed to set remote video description send parameters for m-section with mid=‘video’.”

However, I can play the same WebRTC stream successfully using the WebRTC Playback Test for Wowza Streaming Engine.

Can Flowplayer play WebRTC streams on iOS devices?

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

Could you open a ticket from Wowza | Sign In with your conf and logs (see below) and also let us know how you ingest the WebRTC feed (app, browser etc) and what codec and connection details you’re using?

We’ll gladly look into the issue.

Thank you!

Regards,
Bernd Backhaus
