What is the most recent recommendation for achieving Picture in Picture or video composite functionality using the Wowza Server? I’d like to take in 2 streams from separate wowza gocoder instances, composite one of the videos into the other and then reencode to a single output stream.
I’ve seen these passed forum questions. They’re both quite old. Has anything changed?

The update @Michael Williams is that this is still considered best handled on the encoder end (some have done it through ffmep or gstreamer) and then you can send the PIP streams to Wowza as a single source. I do have a module one of our engineers was working on and it’s still going to require work on your end, but I won’t have access to it until tomorrow. I will share it here though when I have a link.
Any updates related to this question?
The composite feature is not yet supported by Wowza.
We have a composite example with WebRTC coming in the near future. This handles compositing via the canvas element.
