Hello,
I’m experiencing intermittent freezing (every 10/15 secs) in live streaming. Here is the scenario:
Wowza Streaming Engine 4.7.8 (build 20191105123929) on Centos - 32 CPU cores - RAM 128GB
Source encoding RTMP stream @4MBps through Livestream Studio - upload bandwidth about 50Mbps
Stream transcoded and delivered only through HLS
The issue occurs with and without transcoding, at every transcoded bitrate.
Wowza error logs show only warnings (HTTPStreamerCupertinoIndexPlaylist.indexFile[xxxxx/definst/ngrp:livestream_all]: MediaList is empty.)
Any help?
Can you clarify which version of Centos you are using please @Alessandro Carpita?

Please review the 4.7.8 release notes:
The Transcoder feature in Wowza Streaming Engine 4.7.8 requires GNU C Library (glibc) 2.17 or later. CentOS 6 doesn’t support this minimum version of glibc. We recommend updating to CentOS 7 or using a different operating system if your workflow requires the Transcoder feature.

Sorry for the mistake, it was a typo.
Wowza is actually on a Centos 7 machine. The transcoder is working perfectly.
Ok thank you. I’d also like to know if you are trying to playback with the DVR?
This message typically means that wowza Engine is not getting any data from the source. This could be a firewall issue, connectivity issue, incorrect .stream file information or however you are setting up the adaptive bitrate files.
Tech support can only debug in the forums through a support ticket so they may view your complete config and logs. They will quickly be able to find the issue that way @Alessandro Carpita.
