Live Stream Biterate Limit

Hello Wowza,

Is there a way to limit live stream biterate, right now some of our users got a byte in @ 3MB/s and we want to limit it to just 2 or lesser since we can’t afford transcoder with the number of users we’ve got and we cant avail pertetual license (This license is not available for service providers)

Hi,

There isn’t a built-in way, but you can add in a module and configure it to do what you describe here.

The Module is ModuleLimitPublishedStreamBandwidth and is described and available here.
