Hello Wowza Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently facing an issue with audio streaming in the Wowza React example, specifically on the Safari browser of macOS systems with M1 chips. Here are the details of the problem:
Problem Description:
Browser: Safari (Latest version)
Platform: macOS with M1 Chip
Issue: When publishing a streaming video using the Wowza React example, the video is streamed successfully, but the audio is not being published. Consequently, viewers are unable to listen to the audio.
Configuration Details:
Audio Settings:
-Audio Bitrate: 64
-Audio Codec: Opus
Video Settings:
-Video Bitrate: 2000
-Video Codec: H.264
-Video Frame Rate: 30
-Video Frame Size: 1280x720
Steps Taken:
Checked browser compatibility; using Safari, the latest version.
Verified permissions and security settings to ensure audio access.
Implemented detailed logging for debugging purposes; no error messages found.
The issue persists even after trying multiple configurations and settings adjustments.
I am seeking guidance from the community on how to resolve this problem. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has insights into solving audio streaming problems specifically on Safari with macOS M1 systems, your help would be greatly appreciated.
