I just noticed in the Server Monitor the CPU usage is almost 50% with virtually no connections.
If i restart Wowza the CPU usage goes to 0. Normally each streaming connection uses 2% of the CPU.
Are there settings i should change?

You could try a CPU tuning and see if that works. Here is the walkthrough on how to do that (Scroll down to CPU resource-based tuning):

If you still experience the same issue, please let me know.
I have looked over the how-to-do-performance-tuning information in the past and have made one change:
If you’re running the 64-bit version of the Java VM and have 4 GB or more of RAM in your computer, set your Java heap size to between 3000 MB to 5000 MB. If you have at least 16 GB of RAM, set your heap size to 8000 MB.
I have 16GB of RAM so i set the heap size to 8000 MB, that’s all.
Is there specific things i should be checking directly related to the CPU?
Notice over the last few hours the CPU use is increasing with no use.
@Robert Ciepiela, would you kindly open a support ticket? That way, we can take a closer look to determine the true cause. Thank you.
