IP Camera

I have Wowza 3.0.2 working on my PC (IP 192.168.1.90) I have worked through the “live video streaming” tutorial example successfully. I now want to get my network camera (IP 192.168.1.26) live streaming. If I use VLC media player with “rtsp://guest:guest@192.168.1.26:8554/CH001.sdp” it works fine. But I don’t know what to do next. Do I insert the camera IP in the “application.xml” file ? or what - any help would be appreciated - Thanks Murray

Hi Murray, Did you get it to work? I have the exact same problem and I followed the other thread but to no avail (you didn’t post any updates too). Would you mind if I email you instead? I figured it would be easier to troubleshoot with you since my problem is the same

Thanks Randal - I followed your suggested tutorial and everything seemed to fall into place until the end when I pressed “play” and no live stream picture came through. I have a Log file (as a jpeg) as this may give some clue as to what I’m doing wrong. Not sure how I can send it to you. My email is: coastalhills@slingshot.co.nz I would appreciated some guidance on this one because I think it’s close to working. Thanks Murray
