HTTP streaming for mp4

When I try to stream mp4 file that is static, I cannot do that in Chrome browser on my desktop. I’ using the following HTTP tag

When I use the test player provided by Wowza for DASH or HDS it works in the browser. The source link is exactly the same, I’m not sure why the video won’t play when the above tag is embedded in the webpage. Any ideas?

Hello Preyas,

Not all browsers are capable of playing Wowza streams directly within video tags. This is slowly changing as HTML5 features are being rolled out but for now I would recommend using a player such as Wowza Player or JWPlayer for maximum compatibility.
