How to configure recorded video play as live stream

Hi

I am new to wowza. I want to play and shedule an recorded mp4 videos as live stream. how to configure it using wowza stream engine on local system.

Thanks for posting this question @amritpal singh. This is a popular streaming workflow so I am happy to provide you with some assistance:

A quick way to publish an MP4 file as a live stream on your Wowza Streaming Engine is to use the built-in ServerListenerStreamDemoPublisher extension on your Wowza Streaming Engine instance.

You do not need to develop your own module and requires a fairly quick setup.

However, if you are looking for more customizations (such as using multiple mp4 files in a playlist, or creating multiple live streams), then do look into the StreamPublisher class.

It is a pre-compiled module that you can add to your Wowza installation. It does require some configuration setup and installation of the jar file.

First of all I am sorry for the sudden reply.

I made the changes(except playlist, filelist.m3u8) that mentioned in the article, but could not find any incoming streams from live > incoming streams > myStream. Is there any way to confirm the incoming streams in this situation? I also would like to test the playback, how is the playback URL looks like?

It would be great if you could give us any advice.

Thanks in advance,

Ying
