Does the Wowza server require Quicktime to be installed on the server for streaming Quicktime protocols to clients?

We have QuickTime installed on our Wowza Engine Server and it’s a security risk. I need to know if Wowza Engine requires QuickTime to be installed on the server or can I safely uninstall.

Sorry for the delay, I did confirm with the engineers that this can be uninstalled without an issue.
