display bug with facebook live streamtarget

hello,

I have this odd bug.

When I use a facebook streamtarget, it initially displays ‘waiting’ then ‘active’ once a stream connects. So far so good.

But then it displays ‘error’ although the stream is still pushed to facebook.

I am not the only one to observe this bug. Saw another post on the forum.

It seems related to the auto-refresh (which is ON in my case).

This occurs whether the target is: timeline, event, page (group not tested).

This also occurs whether or not the debug options are used when setting up the stream target.

What version of Wowza Streaming Engine are you seeing this with? If not already on 4.5.0.01, and you have active Maintenance and Support please test this with Wowza Streaming Engine 4.5.0.01.

Bug fixed in august 18 update aka 4.5.0.01 (but present in 4.5.0)

If this is still occurring after updating to 4.5.0.01 then please consider opening a support ticket with us. Include a zip of your /conf /logs /transcoder and /manager and we can take a closer look for you.
