Hi,
when i click start button in FMLE after connected to rtmp://localhost/live , Stream doesn’t start rather the error window opens and says
Problem publishing at Primary Server. Unable to publish Livestream stream either due to Network Problem at server, the stream name being used is busy, or you are not authorized to publish to this server. Please check the network connection with server, try publishing with other stream name, or contact your FMS administrator for help.
Urgent…plz help
I see many post relate to this. But couldn’t find the solution…What to do to clear this issue
Thanks,
Divya.
The error usually means that Wowza is not running. You just need to start Wowza before starting FMLE.
“I see many post relate to this. But couldn’t find the solution”
divyat, I see that you’ve started 5 or so posts on this same topic of FMLE/VLC. If we could stick to one thread, until the issue is resolved, it will help other users find solutions. Can we stick to this thread until we find your solution?
Can you describe your setup?
-
Is Wowza, FMLE, and VLC all on the same computer?
-
What is the Server and Stream name you are using to publish to Wowza?
-
Have you setup the live application according to the RTMP tutorial?
-
Do you see any error in VLC?
-
Is your firewall port 1935 open?
Good job. Thanks for reporting back.
For future reference, see the User Guide and/or Quick Start Guide for what streamtypes/codecs Wowza supports. Also here: https://www.wowza.com/media-server#specifications
