I am trying to connect my Teradek Vidiu but it wants a connection code which is nowhere to be found inside the stream setup area. Wowza references it in the “help” area but does not provide this code. Any ideas how to find it?
Hi,
Is the Teradek Vidiu similar to the Teradek Cube?
If so you may find the following article useful to help you get the encoder publishing to Wowza.
How to connect the Teradek Cube to Wowza Streaming Engine
If not, please refer to the documentation which came with the Teradek Vidiu to find exactly what the Connection Code is. If you’re having any issues with connecting the encoder to Wowza or playing the stream with the Test Players in Wowza Streaming Engine Manager, please create a support ticket by sending an email to support@wowza.com. When creating a ticket, please include a ZIP file containing the following directories for analysis:
[Wowza-Install]/conf/
[Wowza-Install]/logs/
Please make sure you provide logs which show Wowza server starting.
If you are not sure how to get this information please see the following tutorial.
