Wowzaplayer buffering on Chrome on PC - but no problems if force flash

Wowza player using HTML player on most live streams (except for the buffering problem and others) but attached is a profile from wirecast that buffers repeatedly 8 seconds after starting - and never re-starts.

This profile from FMLE produces the same problem:

But with “useFlash”:true, viewed side-by-side on the desktop there are no such problems. Which defeats the purpose of an HTML5 player

Hello,

I would recommend going over this Encoding Guide.

Then try H264, 30 fps, 640x360 frame-size, 1024 kbps bitrate, Main Profile, with a keyframe every 60 frames to see if you see improvement.

Regards,

JasonT
