Wowza Streaming with Teradek Cube 255 and JW/bit dash player

Good Morning,

I’ve setup a streaming session from our Teradek cube to the wowza server. I’m testing jw player and bit dash player to view the live stream from the web.

I’ve noticed that the audio cuts out intermittently and the video stops for a second and then resumes.

I’m trying to find out if i need to tweak the wowza server, teradek cube or the jw/bit dash player.

I have one wowza streaming server and one web server. The teradek cube is sending the live stream directly to the wowza server. The people viewing the live stream are connecting to the web server and hitting play from IE or chrome.

I’m not sure which area i should be tweaking or what exactly to tweak.

I would suggest sending in a support request via the Wowza Account Portal. Please include the following information so that we can review your workflow and identify the issue.

[wowza-install-dir]/conf

[wowza-install-dir]/logs

[wowza-install-dir]/transcoder

If you are not sure how to get this information please see this tutorial.

Also, your encoder settings: (screenshots are helpful)

  • fps

  • keyframe rate

  • codec information (both video and audio)

  • bitrate sent to the Wowza Streaming Engine

And finally, your playback URL to review your player page.
