Hi all,
I have strange problem with Wowza setup.
Background:
Aliyun Cloud server (like AWS EC2)
Centos 6.0, Wowza 4.1
Problem:
Our flash recorder website also on same server with Wowza. When we use flash recorder to connect rtmp://server-ip:1935, connection fail. But, when we use same recorder on our local environment site, it can connect to server rtmp.
When i go to http://server-ip:8088, in server description, Server IP is: inet addr:172.16.36.1, then i changed VHost.xm IPAddress to [server-ip] but still no luck.
Does anyone know why?
We also try flash recorder setting to : rtmp://localhost/recorder, rtmp:172.16.36.1/recorder, still connection fail.
Please help us. Thanks
Hi yasinn, did you run the wowza with the ./startup ? Actually I can’t reach your server neither ssh nor ping. Your local enviroment linux or windows ? Can you give some details ?

Hi, Emre Karatasoglu
I ran service with #:service WowzaStreamEngine start. Above domain or ip address is not real, other one is internal ip : 17*… , you can’t reach from outside.
Local ENV : Mac OS X 10.9, Apache2
Fixed! it was recorder php file short tag problem. new server didn’t open php short tag.
Hi yasinn , I see . understanding network prob or not , can you watch sample video in the vod app ? can you connect another live app by adobe live encoder ?
Please stop starting as service and open it with startup , so we can see the actual log . when you click connect button , check that is there any connection info in your console ? Do you use recorder like this ? https://www.wowza.com/resources/3.6.0/examples/WebcamRecording/FlashRTMPPlayer11/player.html
