Hi,
We are actively working on CasterStats that we will present at IBC Amsterdam this year.
CasterStats is a real-time and historical reporting (desktop) software for streaming medias.
We have extended the product to be fully compatible with Wowza Media Server log file format and its http providers for live monitoring.
Our tool is focused on live streaming (no stream on demand or podcasting yet) and can provide information that available log parsers can’t.
AHQ (Average Quarter Hour), Peaks (concurrent users graph), Capacity, to name a fews.
Next version will also integrate playlist importation that will allows you to generate performance reports on any media you broadcasted.
If you are interested by testing our tool for free (at least till IBC), please contact me in private on this forum. Alternatively, you can mail me at pmengal ^AT^ casterstats.com
Thanks in advance

I’ve been testing v2.0 for a while, I must state I don’t know what I would do without it!
bjalli, sorry for that. I just changed the option in my User CP, and it should work now.
IMPORTANT: I see many downloads coming from this thread.
Please note that the current version DOESN’T support Wowza yet.
To obtain the version that supports Wowza Media Server, you have to contact me.
Hi there.
The v2.0 now available in public BETA can be download from this URL: http://www.casterstats.com/downloads.php
I hope you will like it.
Known issue related to Wowza:
- Putting a space in your application name cause the direct query mode to fail. Use the server query instead of don’t put a space in the application name. This issue will be fixed next week.
Hey Manuel, thanks for that!
I must say you have been very patient to test all those builds Thanks to you, the Wowza implementation is very stable.
Hello deltonjonatas,
Yes it is compatible with Wowza and WMS.
You will be able to schedule report generations (in various formats such as PDF, XLS & HTML) to password protected directories for your customers.
The web access is due in April 2011.
You can download and test it on the website: http://www.casterstats.com
Feel free to contact me if you have any question.
In addition here is a link to a custom HTTP provider which supports all client types (RTMP, RTP and HTTP) and removes the current limitations on accurate client counts.
This HTTP provider was created by Andrew Kennedy from shamrock.org.uk and the link takes you to their page where you can download a pdf about the provider and the XMLConnectionCounts.jar file

Hello,
Are casterstats compatible with wowza and windows media service? We have many users in WMA in the same windows 2003 server that we will use with wowza. With both are your software a way to create individual usernames and passwords to clients access individual logs directly in our server? Can I make some test?
