Wowza incorrectly showing Stream is live

Two things!

  1. The stream scheduling API does not work and continues to not turn off creating higher billing costs. If you are told to turn off at a certain time no matter what I expect you to STOP THE STREAM! That’s what stop at a specific time means!

  2. I’ve been billed for usage going to YouTube which during a live stream shows as connected! Yet there hasn’t been a single live stream sent to YouTube for over 2 months! Why is Wowza trying to ripoff consumers and directly lying to them on the dashboard? How is it connected if YouTube isn’t receiving anything?

I see that technical support is reviewing this with you further which is what I was going to suggest- that you submit a ticket so we can review the logs and investigate what happened.
