Wowza and MPEG-2-TS Video is it possible

Hello I am using MediaPortal to capture my live channels and record them to a folder on on computer it is in MPEG-2-TS

Can wowza stream this format as I can not get it to play in test video it just has bitrate 0 and does not play.
