Hello!
I’m testing ip camera etrovision EV8582A (http://www.etrovision.com/pdn_Detail.aspx?no=8&nosub=88) and Wowza.
Camera has codecs:
H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)
MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a)
When I’m start Wowza, video is worked, but audio is not.
I’m done such test:
Get stream from camera with VLC player:
/usr/bin/cvlc -vvv --network-caching=5000 rtsp://IP:554/rtpvideo1.sdp --sout ‘#rtp{dst=127.0.0.1,mux=ts,port=7000}’
Get stream from VLC with Wowza:
camera.stream
udp://127.0.0.1:7000
So, video and audio is worked.
I’m use Wowza 3.0.5 and etrovision EV8582A with latest firmware.
Can you help me resolve this problem?
I want use Wowza without VLC.
I’m send rtsp url of my camera to support@wowza.com.
Perhaps audio is not turned on in the camera.
Richard
In previous post you said no audio track is showing in VLC code info, and in top post you said audio is not working with VLC in between. I’m confused.
Richard
I’m use this guide. Audio don’t work without VLC.
I’m try open stream with VLC:
rtsp://WOWZA_IP:1935/live/camera.stream
In information about codec in VLC I’m see only : H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)
No info about audio.
Audio is turned on.
With VLC in between video and audio work!
Sorry
No audio track is showing in VLC code info - when I’m connect with VLC to WOWZA.
If I’m connect with VLC directly to camera:
H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)
MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a)
I’m send rtsp url of my camera to support@wowza.com.
You can connect to camera remotely.
