Hello,
CORS Header support was not introduced until version 3.6.2. In order to use this feature, you will need to backup the current installation and then uninstall. Then install version 3.6.4. We would then suggest applying patch 7 included in this downloads page.
Then if you would like to add the CORS headers for all HTTP streaming responses from your ‘live’ application, you would need to edit the conf/live/Application.xml file and add the following properties to the HTTPStreamer/Properties container (do make sure that you add it to the correct container):
httpUserHTTPHeaders Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *However, with the same effort, we would always suggest moving to our latest version 4.x, upgrades here. This would allow you to configure these CORS settings from the Engine Manager.

Hi, if I need to upgrade my wowza to 3.6.4, would my perpetual license work for that version of wowza also?
Hi @Andy Engberson, if I need to upgrade my wowza to 3.6.4, would my perpetual license work for that version of wowza also?
I was able to get this done on Wowza 3.52 by installing SSL certificates, and adding an Apache Reverse Proxy. If Apache is too hard to configure you may opt for a NodeJS reverse proxy as a work-around
Thank you for sharing the update. Please consider upgrading your Engine server since we have had several updates since 3.5.2 and many were for security and bug fixes.
Can you please give some more details about updating? I have perpetual license which I had taken when wowa 3.5.2 was running but I definitely want to upgrade without any new cost.
