Wirecast- cannot authenticate error -4023

Hello,

I am trying tostream using wirecast to the wowza server. When I try to start broadcast it gives me this error message.

“cannot authenticate with rtmp/flash server. please enter and/or verify your credentials. [-4023]”

What can I do to fix this? The server is running ok.

I am a newbie with this so bare with me.

Hi,

I answered a similar post on this topic yesterday. It has to do with incoming RTMP and RTSP authentication being turned on by default in Wowza Streaming Engine 4.0. More in this Forum Post.
