We’re excited to announce that our peer-to-peer (P2P) Wowza module is now available.
In short, it boosts streaming-server performance by turning the last-mile into an interconnected grid/swarm. This virtually increases your streaming capacity and allows for better quality of experience.
The connections between the peers are built on top of the WebRTC technology. It allows two browsers (or enabled devices) to exchange data without plugins or third-party software to be installed by the end viewer.
