I’ve encountered the same and already submitted a support ticket about it (that was back in February). When I last checked it was still sitting in the engineering backlog.
I found this problem only occurs for me when the stream has only an audio track. Are you seeing the same, or are the consent refresh requests timing out when your stream also has video?
Thanks @Jay Charles for helping out here. I checked and indeed it is still in engineering backlog. Sorry @pork pork for any inconvenience. I’ll come back and post here when it is supported.
Thanks Rose. Any signals on this one moving up the priority list? It’s been a blocker to the rtmp migration strategy for many of my real-time dependent clients for quite a while now, and with Firefox adding the next round of flash hurdles in version 69 I’m on borrowed time before people get irritated about it and press me for a solution (every change to each browser’s flash behavior ultimately results in dev cycles burned on UX/UI). It would be great if I had something concrete to tell them.
Hey @Jay Charles, let me check for you and I totally understand. If it’s not, I know we may be able to help build something custom for you through Pro Services. Let me start a slack conversation between me, you and Engineer Shamrock.
I am also facing this issue now in FireFox where WebRTC connection seem to be dropped by Wowza Streaming Engine after 5 seconds, no errors in the server logs, it just show disconnect info. In Chrome it is also doing this but would work after 2 or more attempts, but on FireFox it will work.
To confirm you are broadcasting WebRTC? We would like to further review this issue you’re seeing. I would recommend opening a support ticket with the below link:

Please be sure when using WebRTC with Firefox, you have UDP enabled as the ice candidate. Firefox with TCP is not a supported webrtc workflow at this time.
